The Power of a Simple Message

I've been feeling better about my online and offline businesses lately. Good things are happening both places. Is that a result of my feeling better about them?

If you've read The Secret that may not be much of a question for you.

I just recently read the book. I had heard about it for quite some time but had not sat down with it until last week.

What struck me as so in tune with the whole concept was the fact that in all the junk I get in my email that I routinely receive, somehow in the last couple of years I'd signed up for this thing called "TUT, messages from The Universe". Each day as I would go through email to delete, I'd always read that one and it would make me feel so good and often it just hit a nerve or was just what I needed to hear at the right time.

Now that I've read The Secret I understand why, the author of those daily inspirational messages which hit me so perfectly day after day, was a contributor to the book and played an important part in conveying the message in the book.

So for all of you who need a little pick me up daily, I'd like to direct you to Mike Dooley's site so you can sign up to get your own messages from the Universe. It's not a secret, it's helping me!

Obstacles are Opportunities Once Again

I've been a true believer that obstacles are opportunities in disguise. Over the past week I've been reminded once again just how true this is.

In a new joint venture I teamed up with a sponsor to make better use of marketing tools. No big deal, right. The result though has been and will be tremendous. Not just because he's far better at utilizing the tools than I was with the time constraints I've been under lately or the fact that's he's far more experienced, but because of the friendship and teamwork that developed as a result. Technical difficulties ensued and I was thrust into a position to work more closely with his "right-hand gal" halfway across the globe. It is an amazing alliance that I hope will continue for years. One we will nurture and tend, and work together for the team. So his obstacle turned into an opportunity for the two of us to get to know one another so much better, quickly.

That obstacle will further our business dramatically, I know. It's sort of like having coffee with old friends now, after being introduced to her and some of her acquaintances on the team. It makes the job of working online so much more fun when you know there are others you can help and who can help you. You're truly not alone, the world is at your fingers, especially on our team.
